The approval by the Committee of Senior Officials (CSO) represents a crucial milestone in establishing PSY-NET as a formal European research network. This decision confirms the scientific merit and strategic importance of coordinated psychedelic research across Europe.
The Memorandum of Understanding outlines the framework for collaboration between participating countries, defining the scope, objectives, and governance structure of the COST Action. With this approval, the network can now move forward with its operational phase.
This approval validates the growing recognition that psychedelic research needs coordinated European-level infrastructure to reach its full therapeutic potential.

- Formal establishment of the six Working Groups
- Activation of networking tools and funding instruments
- Launch of the first calls for Short-Term Scientific Missions
